The death anim models should copy cosmetic items. It just looks wierd when the hero just changes items upon dying. They always use the hero's base items, completely ignoring any cosmetic item equipped. The problem with this is, they do not copy any cosmetic items. These special animations are done with a separate model just for the death animation. Some heroes have unique death animations, in which they for example fall apart. Heroes with special death animations lose all cosmetic items during them This would keep the damage timing the same. This would shift the damage timing by 0.1 seconds.Īlternatively (with no gameplay impact), the visual effect could be made to appear 0.1 seconds earlier. ![]() ![]() One way to fix this would be to make it spawn thinker dummies which apply the damage upon expiring, with a 0.1s lifetime. The delay between spawn and impact is 0.1 seconds. This affects the arcana as well, which has a similar delay in its visual effect built in. They should deal on impact, not on spawn.
